Sweet picture, I love the idea of a time capsule like this. My daughter 25 was given one of the books she made in second grade a few months ago. What a treasure!
This is so awesome! It's so great that the teacher actually saved it and sent it to her! Wow, I wonder if any of my teachers still have any of my artwork out there! Does your daughter remember drawing it and did she become a day care worker? My 5 year old niece painted a picture of herself that looks like a clown. She wants to be a clown when she grows up. :) Maybe, I should save her picture too! :)
I think this picture is amazing. I wonder does it reflect how she felt at the time. Does she work with kids? I see her dream was to become a daycare worker. She must have thought the world of you and her teacher.
It did reflect what she felt at the time. My work was very important to me. It was and still is something I share with my children. She did work in child care until she went into the US Navy.
